At Trinidad Distilleries very fine rum was put to age in American Oak Barrels way back in another century in 1991. That exquisite and rare 27 year old rum was blended with 18 year old rum from the renowned Foursquare Distillery to form the heart and soul of the 2019 XXXO Limited Edition. This blend does not only have a hint of the precious old rum; it represents 12,5% of the total volume. The blend was then completed with another batch from the Foursquare Distillery, providing backbone and balance, and fine rums from Nicaragua, Dominican Republic and Panama bring woodiness and texture to the equation.
The 2019 Limited Edition Ron de Jeremy XXXO is a beautifully balanced and sophisticated rum. The elegant nose brings forward hazelnut, coconut, vanilla and toffee. On the palate the XXXO is rich, velvety and balanced showcasing delicate notes of dried fruits such as banana and prunes, honey, dark chocolate and nougat. The oak comes through beautifully. For such an old rum the XXXO is unbelievably smooth. The luxurious taste lingers on, forever.

MALT WHISKY BARREL
Double wood matured, single barrel experience from the legendary Caroni distillery
The Holy Wood Collection – Malt Whisky Barrel was distilled in 1998 at the legendary Caroni Distillery, which was closed in 2002. The rum was matured for 11 years in American Oak previously used for Bourbon and then filled into a single Malt Whisky Barrel in Scotland in 2009 and matured for another 10 years creating a wonderfully complex taste profile.
Right from the nose you can tell that whisky has been in play with this bottling. Pleasant fruit notes are blended with a touch of banana, cinnamon and chocolate. On the palate the initial sweetness turns to pleasant oak with accompanied with vanilla, honey and raisins. The finish is long and smoky. Wow, what a harmonious experience for lovers of both Caroni rums and whisky.

COGNAC BARREL
Double wood matured, single barrel experience from the legendary Uitvlugt distillery
The Holy Wood Collection – Cognac Barrel was distilled in 1997 at the now closed Uitvlugt Distillery in Guyana with its legendary Double Wooden Port Mourant Pot Still. It was matured for 3 years in American Oak previously used for Bourbon and then filled into a single Cognac barrel for another 19 years creating a rich and complex taste profile.
The well-balanced nose brings forward oak, star anise and notes of dried fruits such as raisins and prunes. It also offers pleasant hints of vanilla and cream. On the palate this exquisite rum opens up with the warming sensation typical of fine cognac. The full-bodied taste with lingers on with hints of smoke, leather, honey, dark chocolate, pineapple and vanilla. The Holy Wood Collection – Cognac Barrel is a completely unique experience for rum and cognac lovers.

ARMAGNAC BARREL
Triple wood matured, single barrel experience from the legendary Diamond distillery
The Holy Wood Collection – Armagnac Barrel was distilled in 1998 at the Diamond Distillery in Guyana with its legendary Wooden Coffey Still. It was matured for 2 years in American Oak previously used for Bourbon and then filled into a single Armagnac barrel and matured for 8 years until refilled again in a barrel previously used for rum and matured for another 11 years creating a completely unique taste profile.
On the nose you immediately get bitter almond notes reminiscent of Armagnac. The nose then turns to butterscotch with vanilla accentuated by oak. On the palate the rum is soft and well-balanced, with ripe fruits such as plum and banana and finishes with the delicious tingle of salted caramel.
The Holy Wood Collection – Armagnac Barrel is bottled at cask strength 49,2% straight from the barrel and only filtered through cotton cloth. Nothing has been added. The taste and the colour are true to the magic of distilling and barrel aging.
